If you're feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or frustrated by the same patterns showing up in your life or relationships, you're not alone. Seeking therapy can feel vulnerable, and I'm glad you're here.
I'm Chloe Director, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#156748) and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (#20084) providing therapy to adults, couples, teens, children, and families throughout California. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, substance use, and major life transitions.
My work is informed by Attachment Theory, Client-Centered Therapy, DBT, ACT, Narrative Therapy, and The Gottman Method. I have experience working in addiction treatment, community mental health, and insurance-based treatment centers, supporting clients through both substance use and acute mental health challenges. These experiences have reminded me that no concern is too big or too small to bring into therapy.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a teacher, in communications, at nonprofits, and as a matchmaker. While those careers looked different on paper, the common thread was always a genuine interest in people and their stories. Today, I bring that same curiosity and compassion into the therapy room. Together, we'll work to better understand what's keeping you stuck, strengthen your relationships, and build practical tools for change.
